Put your gym floor on a TV — free
Any TV in your gym with a web browser can run GYMZO's live screen: open gymzo.com/live and it shows a 4-digit room code plus a QR code. Members open the app, type the code, and from then on their sessions appear on the wall in real time — name, timer, and a celebration when they finish — alongside your gym's leaderboard. It's free, there's no hardware to buy, and there's no admin account to create.
Setting it up takes about two minutes
Open the live screen on any TV
A smart TV, a streaming stick, or a laptop plugged into the screen — anything with a web browser. Go to gymzo.com/live. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
The screen shows a code
A 4-digit room code and a QR code appear, sized to be readable from across the floor. The screen keeps the same code, so members don't have to re-pair every morning.
Members pair from the app
They tap the gym icon in GYMZO and type the code, or scan the QR. That's the entire pairing — no approval step on your side.
The floor goes live
From then on, every session a paired member starts appears on the screen while they train, with a celebration when they finish.

Each active member appears with their avatar, their username, the exercise they're on and a running timer — so the room can see the room.
Your gym's leaderboard
Ranked by the GYMZO Score, which weighs progress rather than raw strength — so a beginner who's improving fast can top the board over a stronger member who's plateaued. In single-gender gyms it filters accordingly.
What "free" means here
It's worth being specific, because "free" in gym software usually isn't.
- No cost to the gym, with no per-member fee and no cap on how many members pair.
- No hardware to buy — it runs in a browser on a TV you already own.
- No admin account, no login to protect, and no dashboard to learn.
- No contract and nothing to cancel. Close the tab and it stops.
GYMZO doesn't touch memberships, dues or expiry — your own system keeps doing that. There is no roster to maintain here: a member is in your gym's room for exactly as long as their app is paired to your code.
Privacy on the floor
Usually the first question a gym asks, and fairly.
- Pairing is member-initiated. Nobody appears on your screen unless they typed your code themselves.
- Unpairing is one tap, on their side, at any time.
- A member can stay paired but opt out of appearing on the big screen entirely.
- The screen shows a username and training activity — not phone numbers, not body weight, not personal details.
- The screen has no login and holds no member database. Physical presence in your gym is what the room code protects.
Every screen is also a sign-up desk
The QR code on the live screen works for people who don't have GYMZO yet: scanning it sends them to the app, and your room code is waiting for them when they open it the first time.
So the TV does two jobs at once — it gives the floor a bit of energy, and it quietly turns every member who looks up into a possible install.
Common questions
Does it work on an old smart TV?
If the TV has a web browser that can open gymzo.com, it works. A cheap streaming stick or an old laptop is a reliable fallback for a TV whose built-in browser is struggling.
What happens if the screen loses its internet connection?
It reconnects on its own and picks the sessions back up. The screen also refreshes itself periodically so it can run unattended for weeks.
Can I run screens in two rooms?
Yes. Each screen registers its own room code, so a weights floor and a studio can each have their own board.
Do members need GYMZO Pro to appear?
No. Pairing with a gym screen and appearing on it are part of the free tier.
