AI workout plan generator

GYMZO AI Coach

GYMZO AI Coach is an AI workout plan generator built into the app. Answer a few questions — where you train, what equipment you have, which days you're free, how long a session can be, whether you want cardio, which muscles to push — and it writes you a plan. What comes out is a normal plan in your library, built from the same 1,500+ exercise library as everything else. You can edit every part of it. It never prescribes weights, and it never changes your training afterwards.

What it asks you

Six short answers. No fitness quiz, no body-fat estimate, no photo upload.

Where you train

A full commercial gym, a smaller gym, a garage setup, or your living room. This sets the starting assumption about what's around you.

What equipment you actually have

The single input that matters most. Your location pre-ticks a sensible list and you correct it — because a plan built around a cable machine you don't own is worthless.

Which days you're free

You pick the actual weekdays. The plan is built for the week you really train, not a generic four-day template.

How long a session can be

A 30-minute window and a 90-minute window produce genuinely different plans, not the same plan with a note about hurrying.

Whether you want cardio

None, before lifting, after lifting, or on its own day — and the plan is structured around that choice rather than appending a treadmill line.

What to emphasise

Balanced by default, or lean the volume toward the muscles you care about most.

What comes back

  • A real plan in your library — not a chat message you have to copy out by hand.
  • Every exercise drawn from the same 1,500+ animated library, filtered to the equipment you said you have.
  • Sets, reps and rest already set for each movement, and days laid out on the weekdays you chose.
  • Fully editable in the normal plan builder: swap an exercise, change a day, rename it, delete it.
  • Shareable by QR or 6-digit code like any other plan, and yours permanently.

What it deliberately doesn't do

GYMZO AI Coach makes plans, not decisions.

  • It never tells you what weight to lift, and it never raises your load for you.
  • It doesn't watch you train. There's no form review and no video analysis.
  • It doesn't quietly adjust your programme between sessions. The plan you accepted is the plan, until you change it.
  • It isn't a chatbot. You answer a few questions and get a plan — there's no conversation to maintain.

You always get a plan

You always come out with a plan. Whatever happens while it's being built, the same rules hold — rep ranges, rest, how many exercises a session gets, and how the week balances out.

A workout app that sometimes fails to produce a workout isn't a workout app.

What it costs, honestly

AI generation is the one part of GYMZO that costs real money every time it runs, so it sits in GYMZO Pro. We'd rather say that plainly than bury it.

On a free account

No AI generations. You're told that at the entry screen — before you answer a single question, not after you've filled in six.

On a store free trial

One starter plan, so you can see what it produces before you pay for anything.

On paid Pro

Three new plans every calendar month. Enough to rebuild around a new goal, a new gym, or an injury — and it resets automatically.

Never a wasted answer

The limit is shown up front. GYMZO doesn't take you through every question and then ask for money at the end.

Or skip the AI entirely

Two free routes reach the same place. Start from one of the ready-made plans — four goals, three levels, men's and women's, gym and home — or build exactly the week you want in the plan builder, which is free and has no cap on how many plans you make.

Plenty of people never generate a single AI plan and get everything they need out of GYMZO.

How the plan builder works

Common questions

Do I own the plan it generates?

Completely. It saves into your library as a normal plan — editable, shareable and deletable like any plan you built yourself.

Can I regenerate if I don't like it?

Yes, within your monthly allowance. Each generation is a fresh plan; nothing is overwritten until you choose to keep one.

Does it work if I train at home with nothing?

Yes. Bodyweight-only is a normal answer to the equipment question, and the plan is built from movements that need no kit.

Will it adapt as I get stronger?

Not by itself — and that's deliberate. When you want a new plan, you generate one. Between plans, your own logged history is the progression guide.
