For coaches

Send your clients a workout plan they actually keep

A coach on GYMZO uses the same app their clients do. You build your own exercise library — including movements you record on video — then build plans and hand each one over as a QR code or a 6-digit code. The client imports their own copy and owns it. There's no coach dashboard, no roster to maintain, no separate login, and no seat to pay for. If you leave the gym, their plan and their history stay with them.

How a plan gets from you to them

  1. Build it once

Use the same plan builder everyone else uses: their training days, each day marked strength or cardio, exercises from a 1,500+ library with your sets, reps and rest, supersets and circuits grouped, and notes wherever the setup matters.

  2. Share a code

Every plan produces a QR code and a 6-digit code. Send either one however you already talk to your client — in person, over WhatsApp, on a printed card.

  3. They import their own copy

They scan or type it, review the whole plan, and import. It's theirs from that moment: editable, private, and permanently attached to the sessions they log against it.

  4. Or skip the code entirely

Standing next to them on the gym floor, you can build or adjust the plan directly on their phone in under a minute. Sometimes that's just faster.

Your own movements, on video

The library covers 1,500+ exercises, but it won't have the cue you've built your coaching around.

Record it yourself

Add an exercise with a photo, a GIF, or a video you record — plus the equipment it needs, the muscles it works, and your own written instructions.

It travels with the plan

Your custom movements drop into any plan you build, so a client following your programme sees your demonstration, not a generic stand-in.

Coach changes. The plan stays.

The single most common thing that goes wrong for a coached lifter is the hand-off. A coach moves gyms, a contract ends, an app gets cancelled — and the programme and every number behind it disappears with it.

Because your client imports their own copy, that can't happen here. Their plan and their entire logged history belong to their account. It is a better deal for them, and it is a straighter offer for you: you're selling your programming and your judgement, not custody of their data.

The honest boundary

GYMZO is not coaching software, and it's worth being direct about what that means before you commit a client to it.

  • There's no coach dashboard and no client roster — you won't see a list of your clients inside the app.
  • You can't see a client's logged sessions. Their history is theirs; if you want to review it, they show you.
  • There's no in-app messaging, no invoicing, and no scheduling. You keep using whatever you already use for those.
  • There's no coach subscription and no per-client seat. You pay for GYMZO Pro like any other user, or not at all.

What you get in exchange is that there's nothing to administer — and nothing your client has to be granted access to.

Common questions

Do my clients need to pay for anything?

No. Importing a plan, following it and logging every set are all in the free tier.

Do I need a separate coach app or account?

No. You pick "I'm a coach" during onboarding and use the same app. There is no separate login and no coach seat to buy.

Can I share one plan with several clients?

Yes. The code doesn't expire on first use — share it with as many people as you like, and each of them gets their own independent copy.

What if I want to change the plan later?

Edit your version and share the code again, or adjust their copy on their phone. Their existing copy won't change behind their back — which is the point.
